Yet another small creature mutated by the stray magic of the Cataclysms, the Giant Wasp is a new threat to all who encounter them.  Weak alone, they tend to swarm in large numbers and grow rapidly in their nests.  It is best to eradicate their nests quickly when found.

Able to freeze an entire army with a blast of its icy breath, the Ice Drake is one of the most dangerous creatures inhabiting the cold northern wastes of Khaldun.  Striding across the frozen wastes like gigantic ghosts, these pearly scaled beasts are a magnificent sight to behold.  But it is a sight best held from a safe distance, and perhaps from behind the shields of a small army.
Ice Drake Breath: A great blast of arctic wind billows forth, freezing anyone caught within.

Left over from a past age when a fanatical splinter sect worshipped Khaldunite as the representation of the Creator's power on Khaldun, the Khaldunite Elemental is a physical manifestation of the immense destructive potential extant in all Khaldunite.  Conjured and bound for the purpose of guarding the sect's remote shrines, these Elementals proved too unstable eventually turning on their masters and attacking every living thing within sight of the shrine.  Tied to these ancient shrines and robbed of any sentience beyond their original purpose, these mindless creatures are extremely dangerous and prove to be formidable opponents.
Chain Lightning: A blast of powerful lightning that leaps from target to target.  Each blast gets progressively weaker until the lightning is too weak to do any further harm.
