The Acolytes server the Nightbringer by acting as Elite Priests for the Ceyah Kohan.  They are known for their ability to reduce the inherent weaknesses of their shadow troops, greatly improving the survivability of the Ceyah armies.

Slow: Purple mists engulf the mage's targets, causing them to move as though walking through thick mud.  Affected targets move and attack slower than normal.
Mana: 45 / Range: 10 / Area: 3 / Duration: 30 / Movement = 50% / Reload Time = 120% (S)

Vulnerability: Weakens the enemy making them unable to defend against attack. (S)
Area 3 / Move .5 / DV –8 / Duration 30 / Mana 40 / Range 10 (S)

Khaldunite Resistant: Decreases damage taken from khaldunite attacks to 60% of normal. (MP)
Holy Resistant: Decreases damage taken from holy attacks to 60% of normal. (MP)
Bloodlust: Increases attacks against routed units by +2. (MP)

The Defiler is a horrifying priest capable of calling upon dark powers to weaken his enemy and protect his own troops.  Defilers are dedicated to spreading corruption in any form.

Poison Cloud: A cloud of noxious fumes rises up, engulfing the unfortunate targets of this spell.  Affected targets of this spell.  Affected targets are weakened and move slower than normal.
Mana: 30 / Range: 10 / Area: 3 / Duration: 30 / AV vs. ALL = -3 / Movement  = 75% / Reload Time = 115% (S)

Unholy Armor: This spell creates foul energies that envelop the targets, protecting them and increasing their tolerance for pain.
Mana: 40 / Range: 10 / Duration: 60 / DV vs. ALL = +4 / Hit Point Bonus = 110% (S)

The Macabre are the last of a line of Elite Mages in the service of the Nightbringer.  In addition to being able to summon forth ravenous demons to do their bidding, the Macabre can plague their enemies with foul vapors from the realm of the Shadow.  Even some of the Macabre's allies fear their power.

Foul Miasma: The caster conjures up the black heart of the Nightbringer to slow his opponents while sapping their will to fight.

The Maelstrom Engine is the ultimate mystical weapon of destruction.  Surrounded by a field of deadly energy, the Maelstrom Engine is capable of directing immense blasts of pure Khaldunite at the enemy, shattering walls and searing the ground with shadows of the vaporized.  Developed during the Third Age, these magic siege engines made it so that castle walls were no longer regarded as safe havens.

Reverse Damage: Inflicts +5 damage to enemies when they attack element in melee.
Siege Bonus: Increases attacks against buildings by +150.
Dominion: Increases the company's zone of control to 125% of normal. (MP)

The Shadow Knight is a truly evil creature, created through a dark ritual that infuses a Shadow Demon's spirit into the body of a Mareten warrior.  They wield axes forged of shadowsteel that cut through their foe's armor as if it didn't exist.

Khaldunite Vulnerable: Increases damage taken from khaldunite attacks to 120% of normal.
Range Resistant: Decreases damage taken from range attacks to 75% of normal.

Shadow Prophet 16  16      Health: 125 / 4

Requires: Nightbringer (Tech Unit)

Gifted by the Nightbringer with the ability to suck the very will from the enemy, the Shadow Prophet is one of the most feared of the Nightbringer priests.

Spirit Leech: This dark spell drains the very spirit from its victims, filling their hearts with despair and infusing leeched strength of will into the troops of the caster.
Mana: 40 / Range: 10 / Area: 2 / Morale: -30% (S)

Shadow's Blessing: Blesses all friendly elements by trading defense for attack.
DV –2 / AV +6 / Duration 60 / Mana 30 / Range 10 (S)
