The Awakening Updates
The following pages have been updated to retail
version 1.1.4.0: all racial units & buildings, factions & faction units,
races, & technologies. Building info (resistances all buildings
get) has been added to the glossary.

The Awakening goes KoW Tipping
Thanks to everyone for their patience. I had
planned on publishing this update as soon as the NDA was lifted earlier
in the week. Family concerns took precedence and I appreciate the
understanding. My wife and I thank you for your kinds words and
prayers.
Now...
Everything is new: units, factions, heroes, spells, techs, and more.
All updated to KoW version 0.7.3 Beta. As soon as I am able to get
my hands on the full version, I will bring it all up to date. If
you happen to see something that is out of whack, feel free to send me a
quick note. I will continue to tweak
and fix things I invariably frigged up. :)

vet status. Study Kell's
Strategic and Tactical Primer and

That's right, a review, and not just another
preview.
GameSpy takes KoW for a spin and gives it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars along
with an Editor's Choice award!
Kohan II: Kings of War
is a fantastic, fantasy-themed real-time strategy game that no fan of
the genre should overlook. The sequel to the critically acclaimed 2001
release Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns, Kings of War is elegantly designed,
challenging, beautiful, and one of the best games released this year.

Demo Soon!
Global Star and TimeGate announced yesterday that the KoW demo will be
released Monday on
Fileplanet, with other sites getting it on Wednesday to coincide
with the full release of the game (s.r.p. $39.99). With the
announcement comes a new
screenshot.

Factions 3 Mod
Crom has put together an extensive
mod called Factions 3:
All faction units have been modified. The Council is an
army of beasts, the "Holy" Royalists represents the Mareten of Khaldun
along with the Magelord Nationalists, and the Ceyah still lumber forth
as undead minions. This list is large and better illustrated by the
many global history lists included. The best way to experience the
changes is to play!
