TimeGate Studios announced today that key members of the Kohan: Ahriman's Gift development team will be participating in a Developer's Chat on Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at 7 pm CST on Gamespy Arcade (www.gamespyarcade.com).  Participants will be able to converse directly with Ahriman's Gift developers about the prequel to the award winning title, Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns.

"A chat presents the perfect opportunity to discuss our next release, Ahriman's Gift, with those in the gaming community" says Adel Chaveleh, TimeGate's Producer.  "We feel that direct interaction with Kohan fans is so important to the development of successful titles."

Oleg Smirnov sent in an updated version of his Council AI, Darxer.  If you downloaded it before today, be sure to replace it with this one.

In addition to Darxer, Oleg has also made a Nationalist AI, Varyag.  And if you are wondering how these AI's stack up to others, check out this 2v4 film: Darxer & Varyag vs. Darius, Xerxes, Sargon, & Ahriman.
That film is also available on FilePlanet and at the Annex.

We have a tough new Hard Council AI available thanks to Oleg Smirnov.  You will not be disappointed--in the words of the author it is "only slightly weaker than decent human players."  Be sure to add Darxer to your collection.

I reorganized the Map section.  You will now find a Table of Contents with Maps organized by size and a separate section for Single Player Campaigns.  Screenshots and more in depth map info will then be found on individual pages dedicated to each size category.  This should really cut down on page load time.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks to Tireanna and Aktrez for the feedback.

Three tales from WyldRage, based on the clan Hunters of the Eclipse.  These were originally posted in the forum, but I felt they warranted a place in the Fan Fiction section.  Start your journey with Chaos and Unity.

If you have had a hard time loading the site (as I have), it is due to Bravenet being down (counter and poll).  I had nothing to do with it :)

The KAG Demo Tourney Bracket has been posted.  Because of the number of players, 6 byes were awarded randomly--as were all match ups.

The Bracket also shows the finals to be played Saturday night, following the completion of all previous rounds.  If all the finalists agree, I would like to finish the tourney in one night, but if not, the finals will be held Sunday night as previously noted in the rules.

Good luck to all who entered.  See you Saturday!

NOTE: plo and peanut, please e-mail me with valid e-mail addresses.

c) you are ineligible, in which case I let you know.
If you fall into categories a & b, please email me ASAP, otherwise you will not be included in the tourney.

Note to future Mapmakers--please put your name in the map description (created by) so players can know whose map they are playing.
