Sorry for the lack of updates: my system's motherboard failed and after a
really "fun" week of dealing with a local *cough* repair shop, I
am in the slow process of getting a replacement. Meanwhile, I am
writing this on my vintage P166. I do have a couple of films that
need to be uploaded...look for those in the next day or so.

Added the Official KIS AI to the site (under The
Game)...basically, what it says: all the official AI included with
KIS as well as those released by TimeGate's
Ian Klimon listed by difficulty level.
As always, Custom AI is found in their own section
(under Downloads).

France that doesn't have to do with figure skating... I don't speak
French, but from what I can decipher it looks to be some info on an
upcoming KIS patch...bug fixes, new maps,
and...13 new heroes...ooh la la.

A New KAG film, promising to be the
Best 1v1 Ever:
It began as a friendly game of 1v1 by two fellows
skilled in the art of 4v4. It ended up as an epic onslaught lasting an
hour and twenty minutes, with two complete base switches and ending with
an army of elite goons. There never has been a closer fight, and
there never will be...

Computer Games Magazine has announced its choice for Best
Strategy Game of the Year...yep, KIS strikes again. :) Congrats to
TimeGate Studios.
Like the PC Gamer award, these are published in this month's mag...but
they too have a website, in case ya
didn't know.

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has announced its
finalists for the 5th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards and Kohan:
Immortal Sovereigns is up for Best Computer Strategy Game of the
Year. Competition? The usual suspects: Battle Realms, Black &
White, and Civ III. The Awards will be announced on
February 28 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Kohan Wins! The-e-e-e-e-e-e Kohan Wins! PC Gamer magazine
announced its 8th Annual PC Gamer Awards in the March 2002 issue...and
Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns took "Best Real-Time Strategy
Game." Like many, they have a slight problem with the
difference between "moral" and "morale" but other than
that little error, PC Gamer gives KIS a nice little blurb. These awards
are not listed on their
site, so pick up the
March issue if you are so inclined. :)
