The Stratos Group rates Ahriman's Gift an
8.7/10:
"If you're an RTS fan who hasn't had the
opportunity to play the original Kohan, then get out and pick
this game up right now--it's even better than the Stratospheric-award
winning original. If you already have KIS and mainly play
multiplayer, it's a tougher call. I feel there's enough new content to
justify picking Ahriman's Gift up, but I'll say again: your
mileage may vary."

The Mushroom has given K:AG an amazing
10/10 mushrooms:
"Kohan does for RTS gaming what Half-Life did for FPS gaming"
As a point
of reference, Half-Life was the only game to deserve a 10 rating according
to their reviewing criteria. Also, Kohan is now an adjective. :)

Power Struggle pits the four factions
against each other with teams of two each. In the middle of the

A little teaser from Jonah Falcon:
"I'm working on an elaborate 320x320 multiplayer scenario that
will be a 2x2x2x2 game. I won't say more, but I will say that it will be
somewhat like Desert Heart, but it won't be. This map won't be as
claustrophobic as Desert Heart was/is."

GamePen's Jonah Falcon (reviewer and
author of such classic KIS maps as
Desert Heart and Across the
Desert) has reviewed Ahriman's Gift and gives it
5 stars! Unlike some reviews we've seen, Jonah rates KAG on
its own and not as an expansion (which it isn't). That is not to say
that he agrees with the high price (he doesn't) :)
